21 March 2022:

In Class:  Collision theory, and rate. (Chapter 7:1 to 7:6)

Expectations:  Students will be able to explain reaction rate in terms of collision theory.

Due:  The Colligative Properties and the Potential Energy Diagrams worksheets.

Homework:  Finish the Rate, PE Diagrams, and Collision Theory worksheet.

In Class:  Heat of reaction (ΔH), Table I, and spontaneity (Chapter 7:7 to 7:9)

Expectations:  Students will be able to calculate heat of reaction and spontaneity from Table I.

Due:  The Rate, PE Diagrams, and Collision Theory worksheet.

Homework:  Finish the Enthalpy and Entropy worksheet.

Complete the Solutions Lab.

Expectations:  Students will be able to identify saturation levels of solutions.

25 March 2022:

In Class:  Spontaneity, ΔH, and ΔS (Chapter 7:7 to 7:9)

and Equilibrium and Le Châtelier's Principle (Chapter 7:11 to 7:12)

Expectations:  Students will be able to predict reaction spontaneity.

Homework:  Finish the Spontaneity worksheet and the Le Châtelier worksheet.
