In Class: Begin Unit 4: Nature of Bonding, Metallic Bonds, and Ionic Bonds. (Chapter 4:1 and 2)
Expectations: Students will be able to identify metallic and ionic bonds based on characteristics.
13 December 2022:
In Class: Covalent Bonds (Polar and Nonpolar) and Coordinate Covalent Bonds. (Chapter 4:7-10 and 4:13-14)
Expectations: Students will be able to identify covalent bond types based on characteristics.
Intermolecular Bonds: hydrogen and dipole-dipole IMFs. (Chapter 4:20 to Summary at the top of 23)
Expectations: Students will be able to identify IMFs based on characteristics and bond strength.
Due: The Bonding Vocabulary Worksheet.
