Expectations:  Students will be able to identify the method and predict the direction of energy transfers.

28 November 2023:

In Class:  Transformation of Energy.  Temperature and Heat.  (Review Book 88-89)

Expectations:  Students will be able to predict wavelengths of radiated energies based on surface temperatures.

Students will be able to explain the difference between heat and temperature.

Due:  Review Book pages 86-87 (13-24)

Homework:  Review Book pages 89-90 (25-30)

29 November 2023:

No Class:  Earth Science does not meet on Wednesday.

30 November 2023:

Lab 10:
Complete the Time and Tides Lab.

Expectations:  Students will be able to tell local solar time and time zones from a map and be able to explain tides.

Due:  Review Book pages 89-90 (25-30)

Homework:  Finish the analysis and conclusion questions on Lab #10.

1 December 2023:

In Class:  Heat Energy and Changes of State.  Earth's Energy Supply.  (Review Book 90-93)

Begin Topic 5 exam review by starting review book practice questions (1-33).  (Review Book 95-98)

Expectations:  Students will be able to interpret heating and cooling curves.

Students are preparing for the Topic 5 Exam.

Due:  Lab #10:  Time and Tides Lab.

Homework:  Review Book pages 93-94 (31-48) and Review Book Practice Questions pages 95-98 (1-33)
