30 October 2023:

In Class:  Actual Earth Motions.  (Review Book pages 65-68)

Expectations:  Students will be able to explain a Foucault pendulum, the Coriolis effect, and how they support heliocentric models.

Due:  Review Book page 65 (15-19).

Homework:  Review Book page 68 (20-27).

31 October 2023:

In Class:  Apparent Motions of Earth and Moon.  (Review Book pages 69-70)

Expectations:  Students will be able to sketch and explain moon phases and tides.

Due:  Review Book page 68 (20-27).

Homework:  Review Book pages 70-71 (28-40).

1 November 2023:

No Class:  Earth Science does not meet on Wednesday.

2 November 2023:

Lab 8:
Complete the Motions of the Moon Lab.

Expectations:  Students will be able to draw sketches and explain phases of the moon and local time.

3 November 2023:

In Class:  Do and review the Review Questions Review Book pages 76-80 (1-47).

Expectations:  Students are preparing for the Topics 3 & 4 exam.

Due:  The Motions of the Moon Lab.
