Expectations:  Students will be able to solve for distance, average speed, and final speed in free fall problems.

Due:  Page 1:137-9 questions (31 – 44).

Homework:  Pages 1:139-140 ( 45 – 52 ).  Study for Quiz on Section 1-1 tomorrow.

21 September 2021:

In Class:  Quiz on Unit 1 Section 1 (pages 1:1 to 1:17).

22 September 2021:

In Class:  Calculating Initial and Final Velocity, Acceleration, Time, and Distance.

  • vf = vi + at

  • d = displacement or distance
    vi = initial velocity or speed
