In Class:  Calculating Distance and Converting Units.  Ch 9:  296-299.

Expectations:  Students will be able to calculate speed, time, or distance given the speed equation.

Homework:  Finish the Section 2 Review questions (1-4) on page 299.
Practice for the quiz on calculating speed, distance, and unit conversions.

26 September 2023:

In Class:  Quiz on Calculating Distance and Converting Units.  Ch 9:  296-299.

Guided Reading and Study Workbook pages 101-102.

Expectations:  Students will fill in the guided notes in their workbooks.

Due:  Section 2 Review questions (1-4) on page 299.

27 September 2023:

No Class:  class does not meet Wednesdays.

28 September 2023:

Lab 2:
Plate Tectonics Slow Motion lab.

Expectations:  Students will be able to calculate speed, time, or distance given the speed equation.

Homework:  Finish the Plate Tectonics Slow Motion lab report.

29 September 2023:

In Class:  Acceleration.  Ch 9:  302-306.

Expectations:  Students will be able to calculate acceleration given the change in speed and time.

Homework:  Finish the Section 3 Review questions (1-4) on page 306.
