In Class:  Vocabulary for Section 1-9:  dividend, dividend income, income stock, yield, growth stock, preferred stock, common stock, corporate bond, face value, and matures.  Students should begin the Check Your Understanding parts of Examples 1 – 6 on pages 52 – 45.

Due:  Applications on page 50 (8 – 15).

Homework:  Finish the Check Your Understanding part of Examples 1 – 6 on pages 52 – 54.

3 October 2017:

In Class:  Begin the Applications on pages 55 – 56 (1 – 16).

Due:  Check Your Understanding part of Examples 1 – 6 on pages 52 – 54.

Homework:  Finish Applications on pages 55 – 56 (1 – 16).

4 October 2017:

In Class:  Begin the Applications on pages 59 – 61 (1 – 20).

5 October 2017:

In Class:  Review for the Chapter 1 exam.

Homework:  Study for the Chapter 1 exam.

6 October 2017:

In Class:  Chapter 1 Exam.

Homework:  Begin reading Section 3-1 pages 116 – 122 of Chapter 3 paying special attention to the vocabulary.
