• IC 4715 or Messier 24
  • M24 Star Window
  • IC 4715, M24, is sometimes considered an open cluster
  • in Sagittarius but it is actually a window through the
  • dust clouds in the Milky Way that allows us to see
  • stars from the far side of our galaxy.  NGC 6603,
  • a true open cluster, is also visible just above
  • and to the left of center.
