reached perihelion on January 12, 2023.
The short, broad, dust tail appears above the comet
and the thin, straight, ion tail streaks to the upper right.

ZWO 30F4 30mm mini guide scope
Computer: ASIair pro Raspberry Pi
Mount: iOptron CEM40
Camera: ZWO ASI071MC Pro Cooled (-10°C) Color CMOS with gain 90
Filter: Baader Light Pollution Moonglow filter with IR cut
Stacking: Fifteen 240 second frames, stars and comet aligned
separately using Deep Sky Stacker
Total Time: 1 hour
Processing: GIMP – Levels, Curves, Saturation, Color Balance using Levels,
Brightness-Contrast, and star dimming using Value Propagate
